Ott currently serves as a senior advisory partner at Bain & Company, UK, a role he has held since 2006. His professional journey began in the United States within the financial services sector, followed by a transition to McKinsey & Company in 1989. His academic background includes a Master’s in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Carleton College.

Ott replaces Karen Whitworth, who acted as interim chair from October 15 following Alex Thursby’s resignation after seven years of service. Whitworth will return to her roles as senior independent director and audit chair.
