Dragon Link win totals $1,025,913.22
Two sisters from Lake Peekskill, New York, won a $1,025,913.22 jackpot on a Dragon Link slot machine at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. The casino announced the win on Facebook, sharing a photo dated October 16, 2026. The jackpot was triggered using the game’s Hold & Win feature, a mechanic that allows players to hold winning symbols for additional spins.
Mohegan Sun posted a message congratulating the pair: “Join us in congratulating our two lucky winners that hit this HUGE $1,025,913.22 jackpot on one of our Dragon Link machines!” The official check issued for the prize credits one of the women, identified by the initials AGR, as the winner. The casino did not provide further details about the players’ ages or specific play history in the announcement.
Commenters highlight machine history
The Facebook post generated discussion regarding the specific machine involved. One commenter noted that the win appears to have occurred in the casino’s high-roller section, though Mohegan Sun did not specify the exact location in its official statement. Another user claimed that this specific Dragon Link machine has awarded three prizes exceeding $1 million in 2026 alone. The same commenter stated that the machine has been temporarily shut down since the recent win. Mohegan Sun has not confirmed this suspension or the machine’s payout history in the available records.
Other interactions on the post were less substantive, with one user jokingly asking if the winners were single. Such engagement is common in social media responses to large jackpot announcements, where players often track specific machines or locations associated with high payouts. The casino’s digital channels serve as the primary venue for these public recognitions, which function as both customer acknowledgment and marketing for the property.
Recent high payouts at the resort
The Dragon Link win follows a series of significant payouts reported at the Connecticut casino. Several days prior to the October jackpot, a guest won a $560,898 progressive jackpot playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em. According to reports, that win was achieved with a Royal Flush of Spades. The table game win highlights the variety of high-value outcomes possible across different product categories at the resort.
In August, GamblingNews reported a separate $400,000 payout at Mohegan Sun, which was won thanks to a five-card Royal Flush. These events illustrate the frequency of high-value wins across different game types at the resort, ranging from table games to slot progressives. Mohegan Sun continues to operate its casino floor with a mix of slot machines, table games, and sports betting options, regularly publicizing large wins through its digital channels.
Why It Matters
This win confirms that Dragon Link’s Hold & Win feature continues to produce seven-figure payouts at major U.S. casinos. For operators, such high-profile wins drive traffic and brand visibility, while for players, they serve as a benchmark for potential returns on specific slot titles. The concentration of large wins on a single machine, as suggested by social media comments, may also influence player behavior and machine placement strategies within the casino floor.
