The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has expanded its footprint with the launch of its first permanent retail store on the Las Vegas Strip. The store, located in the bustling corridor between Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas, opened its doors to the public on June 15, 2026. Jack Binion, son of WSOP’s founder Benny Binion, officially inaugurated the store on June 12, further cementing his family’s legacy in the poker world.

A Permanent Hub for Poker Fans

For poker enthusiasts, this new retail space is a game-changer. Unlike the temporary booths previously seen at WSOP events, the store provides a year-round destination for fans. Spanning 2,320 square feet, it stands as the largest retail area ever dedicated to the WSOP. The store offers over 100 merchandise designs at launch, featuring everything from apparel and accessories to collectibles that capture iconic moments in poker history. Walking through the store is meant to be an experience. Visitors begin with a nod to Nevada’s early gambling culture, complete with rustic textures inspired by historic saloons and casinos. The journey then transitions to modern times, celebrating today’s champions and the contemporary WSOP. Standout features include a grand LED display of tournament highlights, an exhibit for championship bracelets, and a unique chandelier crafted from poker chips.

The Binion Legacy Endures

The store’s opening isn’t just a retail milestone — it’s a homage to the Binion family’s enduring influence on poker. Jack Binion’s involvement adds sentimental value, despite the family’s current lack of ownership over the WSOP. Benny Binion’s vision in 1970 was to gather the world’s top poker players in Las Vegas, a dream realized with the WSOP’s growth into the premier poker series globally. Though the WSOP is now owned by NSUS Group following its $500 million acquisition in 2024, the ties to the Binion legacy remain strong. Caesars Entertainment will continue its operation of the WSOP in Las Vegas until at least 2044. The new store not only celebrates the rich history of poker but also connects fans with the game’s evolving global appeal.

Market and Regulatory Context

The establishment of a permanent retail space aligns with wider trends in the gambling industry. As poker continues to grow in popularity, both online and offline, brands are increasingly seeking ways to engage more deeply with fans. This store is a strategic move to capitalize on this trend, offering physical merchandise and experiences that online platforms can’t provide. Still, in the wider regulatory environment, Nevada has been relatively quiet on enforcement lately, allowing operators like WSOP to focus on expansion and fan engagement. And however, whether this new retail venture boosts WSOP’s bottom line remains an open question.

Future Prospects for WSOP

The store’s impact will become clearer as the WSOP continues its annual series through July 15. It’s expected to draw major foot traffic from the flood of poker fans attending the tournaments. And the board is expected to evaluate the store’s performance and its contribution to brand loyalty later this year. Until then, poker aficionados now have a new landmark to explore on the Strip.
